Functions:
1. Prevent overpressure of the system: When the hydraulic pressure of the system is too high, the relief valve will open and release the excess hydraulic oil, thereby preventing the overpressure damage of the hydraulic system.
2. Control flow distribution: The relief valve can control the flow of hydraulic oil into each actuator to ensure that each actuator can obtain the required hydraulic oil. For example, in the work cycle of an excavator, it can coordinate the distribution of hydraulic oil flow in the boom, bucket and running system.
3. Heat dissipation: When the relief valve is opened, the hydraulic oil flows through the valve core, increasing the flow speed of the hydraulic oil, taking away heat and playing a cooling role.
4. Ensure stable load: When the load suddenly changes, the relief valve can be immediately opened or closed, temporarily changing the flow of hydraulic oil, so that the load is kept in a stable state to avoid hydraulic system failure.
